THE STORY
While the North Star enjoys the spotlight, Nova wonders why everyone else has had a turn in the heavens. Together with Luna, Layla and Vega, Nova follows news of an extraordinary birth. The answer arrives with the Angel of the Lord: a new light is needed to guide the Wise Men to Bethlehem.
Nova, supported by Luna, Layla and Vega; Coach Night, the North Star and the Angel give the story its larger encounters.
The Clouds are especially flexible. Their six individual speeches can be combined for one speaker or shared among two, three, four or more children. Supporting star dialogue can also be redistributed, keeping personalities consistent.
Young Stars can take part through a dance or a song. Add more stars around the final reveal without adding memorized dialogue.
A sky setting, simple travel transitions and Nova's change from a dark costume to a bright one create the main visual moments. Audio and track cues have been removed from the 2026 edition; music recordings are not included.
